With the exiting charcoal culture in rural villages, Charcoal Museum presents the results in this meaningful museum to continue the legacy of charcoal culture in rural villages. It also uses the resources of current charcoal culture of Zaoqiao Township to construct and present the history of the community and resources of creative cultural industry with new concepts, new creativity, and new technology.
The purpose of established the Charcoal Museum is to integrate the local culture with tourism to display local features to transform the township into a place with regional culture and local lifestyle. It also aims to promote the teaching of charcoal culture in schools at various levels to promote the preservation and study of the declining charcoal culture. In the future, it aspires to become an international charcoal art exchange center.
