The arts of Taiwan wood sculpture is closely related to the behaviors, social organizations and religious beliefs of the Han settlers from Fujian and Canton of the mainland China. Not only the settlers brought along the lifestyle, culture and style of arts belonging to the vicinities of Changchow, Chuanchow, Chaochow and Shantou, but also attributed to the local natural environment, lifestyle and cultural conditions of Taiwan, the uniqueness of Taiwan wood sculpture was gradually developed.The entities on display in this area include: The Austronesian Tribe Wood Sculpture, The Origins of Sanyi Wood Sculpture, Arechitecture & Furniture and Temple Deities.
